A Fantastic Kate Day At Wimbledon!!

And, WME's CEO speaks out, does he have political ambitions for Meghan?

Happy Sunday!! Today has been a royal watching joy!! Kate, Charlotte, and Pippa all went to Wimbledon together. Kate looked wonderful, stronger than she did at the Trooping, which was about a month ago. From what we saw today, her road to recovery looks very good, it’s such a relief and joy to see that.

I’m pretty sure today was also the most extensive opportunity we have had of watching Pippa and Charlotte together. It was adorable! They look to have a close and easy relationship, like the best aunts and nieces tend to do. I would love to see more of them together at events, it’s just so cute.

The standout fashion for me today was Charlotte’s sunnies from Ray-Ban. I wonder if they come in adult, because, yes, I would wear them. They are being described as red, but they are showing as pink. Just a very fun look and so cute! Kate’s wearing Victoria Beckham sunglasses, a very popular style right now, but it’s not my favorite. However, I love VB sunglasses, have several pairs. The quality is amazing and you can’t go wrong with VB sunnies.

There have been some interesting comments recently from Ari Emanuel, CEO of WME, Meghan’s agent. For background, in May, when Archewell was declared “delinquent” by California’s Attorney General and given notice to stop fundraising, Gavin Newsom leaped to Harry and Meghan’s defense. Using time during a press conference which originally was to announce a $3.3 billion increase in mental health spending by the state of California, Newsom veered off topic, praising Meghan and Harry. Heaping accolades on Archewell, calling it a “celebrated organization” doing “great work in the state of California”, “extraordinary work”, his praise was endless. Then in a more personal way, as if to prove that he was out there swinging for Meghan and Harry, he added, “…so, I wanted to clarify that, because that’s important…” Important to whom? Meghan and Harry do not have the power to illicit this type of praise from Newsom, so who is this directed to? Who asked him to do this?

I found the whole display bizarre and overkill. Especially his descriptions of Archewell. I mean, it was laughable. They barely do any work or giving. Meghan and Harry use Archewell as a slush fund to pay political consultants for access. But, that’s still not enough to buy this display from Newsom. This was much bigger than Harry and Meghan.
